To better serve our growing community, we have implemented a new "Answers" capability in selected forums. You will notice threads with an "unanswered" or "answered" prefix. When you create a new thread, it will start as "unanswered". As community members post answers, you will have the option to select the best answer. When you select the best answer it will:

• change the prefix to "answered"
• put your selected answer directly beneath your question, to make it easier for other users to find the best answer
• send a private message to the user that provided the answer so they know they have been helpful
• generate statistics so that the top members who have posted the most "answers" will be displayed

We hope this will greatly improve your community experience. If you have older threads that have been answered, please help your community members by selecting the best answer to your question.

Hi all

I think it's very useful to tag threads as answered and unanswered.
But there are a lot of users who miss to change the prefix when their question is answered. It's a pitty, because now this function doesn't bring the expected advantage.

I agree, and I am waiting for some enhancements from the makers of this mod. One important one is to allow moderators to select the best answer if the poster doesn't do so within a given timeframe.

I sometimes send a private message if a thread should be closed. And in some case the users close the thread.
